From the Art Department...news!

I have just had my self-portrait painting published in the Self-Portrait Issue of Poets and Artists (O&S) Magazine ~ September 2009. It is available online for viewing as well as at Amazon.com (in about a week's time).

You can zoom-in when you get to my painting, although admittedly, it is not extremely clear when you do so, but you will get the idea of the textures I have incorporated. This is a large 30 x 30 painting and I loved painting this one!

i dream

i breath

i want

falling for you
i ran as fast as my legs could carry me
you sauntered 
i felt free
and on the breeze
happy
full of excited feelings

                                



i couldn't stop

                                         it was as if fate

                                         had stepped in

                                         to push

                                         to give momentum

                                         to this feeling

                                         to this weary soul

                                         that so desired love ~

                                         above all else...

then at once,
i stood quietly
tried to remain as such
to ponder

...release this hurried feeling

you were in no hurry to begin
i was dying to begin,
to be fully exposed
mind,
heart,
body,
soul...                                                                                                                







     you took your time...
I could learn a thing or two about that.

JD where is he when I need him?...a 180 for me...

oh that man, that JD.
he drives all the ladies crazy!

he's the quintessential bad boy,
with a wicked sensual side
prized by Brando himself,  in Don Juan.

and he's a Pirate (Captain Jack Sparrow) that SO turns it on...

i've got friends plentiful, who love him so
doesn't matter what age, they all want to know, JD
even ask, my child number three, has had fights with me ;)

this is also for Dee, besides me,  (she's at another blog)
but she knows what I mean. she's got it too, it's a sickness ;)

 he brings tingles up and down my spine
when he played in Benny & Joon,
i wanted to make him mine!
