new paintings-in-progress...

Thought I'd post my two newest paintings-in-progress. I work on a few at a time, but this is the first time I am literally working on these at the same time on my easel. A little crazy, I know! Most likely one more working session filling in my details and applying varnish to it. I wish I had something more exciting to post, but this is it for tonight.

Calli...I think your paintings are very exciting blog postings. Some post their poetry, some their prose, some their Bull Shit...and some like me, Much Ado About Nothing, and of all those, your pictures, your work, rates sometimes at, and always NEAR the top. In my most HUMBLE opinion. Can't you just "smell" the humility there???

Steve~ That is very sweet of you to say, thank you and I will continue to post them...and the word verification might just have to go ;)
goodness!!!

A'Jay~ You are so generous, thank you so much! I believe the full moon, among other things, is having quite the effect! :) The sculpting is coming along nicely. I am going to leave the 'original figurative' attempt as is, so I can always have a remembrance of my first try at sculpting a figure. As another friend reminded me...It's an evolution!so I am certain they'll evolve...:)

I admire that you CAN work on two at a time! Multi-tasking, thy name is woman!

Can't wait to see the finished work!

It's very interesting to watch your paintings getting from nothing to white to life.
I am glad that you are back to your lovely art.

Each is very pretty. I love the
water color quality and the honesty
of the woman's expression.
