'Artist's virtual sketchbook'...

These are paintings taken from my old portfolio and many photographed as a collage, sort of an 'artist's virtual sketchbook'...many were painted as lessons from various watercolor technique books. The only one painted at a class was the 'Lighthouse' painting which was painted during a 3 night mini course. I truly do love painting in watercolor and should get back to it. If you would like to see more of these click on my flickr photostream link at the far right of my page. I also have some oil paintings and mixed-media (experimental) paintings. Enjoy!

Calli-I am here for the first time in a few postings of yours, so this comment is for the last several. I'm so glad you shared your talents here, I am very inspired by your work. I love the lighthouse one, and the one with the face is amazing. And Happy Spring!

Also, it is funny the comment about thinking about Autumn. I keep thinking about it too! Because it was so spectacular, and even though it is Spring now, the memory of last year's leafing is all we really have except those little alien red things at the tops of naked trees I keep spotting. Thanks for your work Calli, you are an inspiration to me.
