Part I
There’s a window
Speaking volumes
Telling, almost secretly saying,
“I am here”…
…willing me towards it
…teasing me towards it
Whispering. “You can believe”…
…“And, I will never hurt you”…
Part II
He is beautiful!
If he were to give his love
Solely to One?
Even the Angels would cry.
Even they would not be able to bear the Beauty!
Part III
Decisions, decisions, decisions…
Part IV
And they lived Happily Ever After!
*well, a girl can dream, can’t she?
damn straight she can!

Giggle...
The painting has such sweet nuance. Sweet like the painter. :-)
Oh, my sweet Sis, you make me giggle ;)...
thank you, sweetest! :)...
Calli, you know I say what I mean (about half the time?). Anyway, in this painting, I'd sure like to see an expression on her face of "enjoying this 'reality' moment" instead of passively "enjoying the dream".
You know, I DID go to art school once, Calli. I played violin for one hour at a luncheon for some students and their teachers at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Does that not qualify me as a ACE number ONE art crtic? Hmmmmmm?
Hope you took this whole comment with a --grin!
ha! Steve, darling, when she is living the 'reality' she will be re-invented and it will not be mistakable to anyone that she is finally "enjoying the 'reality' of this moment" and future moments...
*grin*
Ahhh! I finally "got it"...and more!
It is always a pleasure to visit the site of a real friend Calli. You!
I love the contrast of light and vibrant reds in the painting and the contrast between what I expect to happen and what does happen throughout the parts of the story!
excellent...
i know it's a WIP, but
i would hang it in my writing room, NOW!
s'gonna be good!
'...a kiss, to build a dream on.'
Very intriguing, psychological
painting. Draws me in and gets
my mind churning. Does she want
to open the window &let him in
or does she want to fly away?
However, you end with happily ever after so I guess she wants to
let him in. She looks to be
pondering the question.
of course she can. and sometimes this is just how it happens...
Oh my. I am drowning in your words; beautiful you.
this is gorgeous - words and painting, your words are always so beautiful, Katie
Oh Calli
Definitely a girl can dream! I love this one. Sweet and tongue in cheek
Love your blog
Linda
