'uncertainty' lyrics by The Fray
uncertainty it's killing me
and i'm certainly not asleep
maybe i've gone far too deep
maybe i'm just far too weak
and that's the last place
i want
to be the last place
and there is so much we don't know
so we love and we hope that it holds
thousands were lost, maybe more
the question remains what is this for
maybe it came unexpected
maybe i'm left unprotected
and that's the last place
i want
to be the last place
and there is so much we don't know
so we love and we hope that it holds
and either we say or we show
so i'm going to fight for my own
i'm holding on until the last
i'm holding on til there's nothing left
i'm holding on until the last
i'm holding on til there's nothing left...
*a haunting song, do take a listen:
uncertainty

I like it.
wow, this is great, Calli!
i love zooming in & trying to see
what it took to accomplish something like this.
beautiful work!
peace~ C
With certainty I can say that I certainly visited "Uncertainty" three times now. Calli, I DO admire your work, and see growth over these months, or maybe it's my growth--in appreciating your talent--which I'm seeing.
I gotta say it again. The revamping of your blog page with those fantastic photos of yourself is just a marvelous change. So if ya want peeps like me to spend time admiring your artistic abilities, you'll have to take down your own face shots, there certainly is no uncertainty about them.
I really mean that paragraph to be complimentary rather than a "Ho-Hum, how pretty she is" remark. Although that is also true. But I've been saying that all along.
Thanks, Calli. You have been extra nice to me, granting permission for me to use a couple of your works on past blogs of mine. You are truly sweet, girl!
Peace!

Great work, Calli! Congratulations!
uncertainty? yip, i see it.
Uncertainty is vividly express in
this woman's face. Her eyes look
frightened and alert, as if she is
aware that the wrong choice will
change the course of her life.
The choice of almost nude-pink
dress further exposes her vulnerabilty.
Great work Calli!
wylde otse~ Why, thank you! and thank you for following both of my blogs!
Chuck~ As always, thank you so much! This is one of those where I just sketch her, her stance and go from there. I love when their faces and mood just evolve.
Steve~ You're an Angel! Thank you for your generosity that always brings a smile, and at times, a huge belly laugh! ;)
Karen~ Your generosity is always apparent. You are so kind! thank you!
Shadow~ Yip, it's there! :) Thank you, my friend!
Cynthia~ You are so generous. I love that you really viewed her and saw exactly what she's all about, including the 'nude-pink' coloured dress, that, absolutely shows her vulnerability. You described her beautifully!
