i dream
i breath
i want
i want
i want...
falling for you
i ran as fast as my legs could carry me
you sauntered
i felt free
and on the breeze
happy
full of excited feelings
i couldn't stop
it was as if fate
had stepped in
to push
to give momentum
to this feeling
to this weary soul
that so desired love ~
above all else...
then at once,
i stood quietly
tried to remain as such
to ponder
...release this hurried feeling
you were in no hurry to begin
i was dying to begin,
to be fully exposed
mind,
heart,
body,
soul...
you took your time...
I could learn a thing or two about that.

How well the beautiful photos match with your playing words.
First innocent love... I Love it
Thanks for your comments, sweetie :)
things to learn by both parties, it seems... usually, as they say: once bitten, twice shy
I love the ending. We could all learn a thing or two about that, Calli! Beautiful photos and perfect match with poetry.
Ah yes - that is something to learn - over and over again for me - to take my time.
Thank you Calli.
I am loving the way your words are written and the feeling they provoke with the layout; you. As I kinda held my breath whenn reading such.

Its hard to put the breaks on sometimes. And most of the time we shouldn't.
You know what stood out here for me? Something which has probably been there for longer than a year Each time I arrive here, there is something else, some new toy with which to play:
"Love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation."
~ Rabindranath Tagore
September 3, when you posted this, I was in Richmond, VA, "cavorting" on my motor scooter.
So, having found it and many others just recently, I'm having fun catching up. But Calli, I keep wondering, why do I cry every time I read this? It is not necessarily about "first love" I believe (although I remember that as well--grin!)
You are a writer extraordinaire in that many of your posts are in a way, esoteric--and yet can be easily understood by a dunce like me...
Thank you SO much for being YOU!
--ME!
You really are weaving in and out of these old posts lately. I am flattered that you're doing so, Steve.
This one has special meaning (ha they all do) and can certainly make me cry if i give it much thought. What doesn't make me cry these days? it has become a way of living...that happens when we fully open our hearts, but i wouldn't change that for anything.
Thank you for the great comments and 'esoteric' as a word to describe my writing, is a very high compliment!
Thank you, Steve!
Thanks for being YOU!
